One Service and Congregational Meeting Today

Today we are having one service at 10:00am which will be followed by a Congregational meeting for the purpose of receiving reports and hearing  an update on the restoration work at Trinity.

Epiphany 2020: Youth and Young Adults Shine the light of Christ

The Season of Epiphany in the church lifts up the ways in which God’s glory in Jesus shines the light of the gospel to all the world.

The season begins on January 6, the Day of the Epiphany, which celebrates God’s use of the light of a star to lead three kings from the East to come and worship Jesus. Each Sunday’s gospel lesson tells how the light of Christ shines and calls people to Him.

During this Epiphany 2020 season, our youth and young adults will be shining the light of Christ by their own witness and testimony.

Today we are thankful to D.J. Rich and Christopher Redman, two of our teens who will be sharing as part of the message this morning. Next Sunday we will hear the witness from another teen; Chelsea Virta-Steel.

Home Communion Ministers Serving Today

Today our Assisting Ministers of Holy Communion will be taking Holy Communion directly from the altar to our members who are homebound and in nursing homes. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will attend them as they go, and that those who receive the Sacrament will know the loving presence of Christ and the fellowship of this congregation.

Join together in “A House of Prayer” this Lent

Jesus said, “It is written, ‘My house shall be a house of prayer’ ” (Luke 19:46). The Lord God spoke through the prophet Isaiah: “…my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7) The great joy of our unity in Christ is worshiping and praying together In Him. During the season of Lent this year, members and friends of Trinity are invited to set aside time to sit down in prayer together. Praying together strengthens the spiritual life of our congregation and our relationship in Christ. You are invited to share this deeper time of study and prayer. On Wednesdays in Lent, March 4, 11, 18, 25, and April 1, please come for a simple meal, 5:30-6:15pm, then for Study and prayer, 6:30-7:25pm (Classes are available for learning Lectio Divina or Centering Prayer forms). Sign up NOW to be a part of this wonderful experience of praying together.

Construction on Roof Systems

Construction has begun on the roofing systems at Trinity. For safety purposes due to construction activity much of the back parking lot and the Food Pantry will be blocked and unavailable. The projected time schedule for the completion of the phases of the roof system replacement is mid-February. Please take care accessing the church building from the back. During this time the Food Pantry will be closed.
